William & Mary Athletics

Elise Montemayor serves as the Compliance Coordinator for Tribe Athletics, a role she began in November 2024.

She first joined William & Mary in April 2023 as an Assistant Coach for Tribe Volleyball. Prior to that, she spent two seasons as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Christopher Newport University.

Before beginning her career in college athletics, Elise worked as a National Security Consultant in Washington, D.C., and later as the Assistant Director of Social Media and Communications at Coastal Church.

A former volleyball student-athlete at Saint Francis University (PA), Elise graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Program with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish, along with minors in Political Science, Global Community, and Global Languages and Culture. She was named the 2019 Northeast Conference (NEC) Scholar-Athlete of the Year after completing her collegiate career with a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.

Elise is currently pursuing her MBA at William & Mary and resides in Newport News with her husband, Caleb.
