Again named All-CAA after helping W&M to a third-place finish in the 800 free relay ... Individually, was seventh in the 1650 free for the second year in a row ... Won the consolation heat of the 500 free ... At the Hokie Fall Invitational, made the championship heat of the 500 free ... Tied for sixth place in the race ... Also finished 15th overall in the 200 free, and 17th in the mile ... Won five races during the year ... Swept the 500 and 1000 against both Georgetown and Richmond ... Won the 1650 against UNCW at the CAA Pod Meet.

2012-13
Became the first Tribe swimmer to compete at USA Swimming's Open Water Nationals ... Finished 32nd in the nation at 1:09:36.59 in the 5K event ... Broke W&M's freshman record in the 1650 free by taking seventh at the CAA Championships in 16:52.88 ... Also named All-CAA as part of the Tribe's third-place 800 free relay ... Made the consolation finals of the 500 free, where she finished 15th overall ... Made the B finals of both the 500 free and the 1650 free at the Hokie Fall Invitational ... Finished 12th in the mile, and 14th overall in the 500 free ... Also advanced to the C finals of the 200 free, taking 24th ... Won two races.

USA Swimming Scholastic All-American ... Twice named a USA Swimming Prep All-American in the 1000 free and 200 free ... Conference Swimmer of the Year in 2010 and again as a senior in 2012 ... Undefeated in the 200 free at her conference championships, winning four titles in four years ... Also won the 500 free three times (2009, 2010, 2012), and the 100 fly as a junior in 2011 ... Named to the Cincinnati All-City team all four years of high school ... Part of the Cincinnati Aquatic Club, training under Benson Spurling ... Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal
Daughter of Petra and Russ Vester ... Enjoys baking, crafts, and "artsy stuff" ... Diagnosed with Type I diabetes her junior year of high school ... Spends her summers as a counselor at Camp Korelitz, a residential camp for kids with diabetes ... Has raised more than $43,000 over the past two years at the JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes, ranking as the second-highest individual fundraiser each year.
