William & Mary Athletics

Abel joined the Tribe Sports Medicine staff in  2022 and serves as the athletic trainer for the Tribe women's soccer and women's swimming programs. 

Prior to William and Mary, he spent the 2021-2022 season with the women's basketball and men's soccer programs at UMBC. Additionally, Abel covered football, women's soccer and women's basketball at Bridgewater from 2020-2021. 

Abel graduated with his bachelor's degree from Davis & Elkins College (WV) in May of 2019 and his master's degree in athletic training from Bridgewater College in 2022. 

Abel now resides in Williamsburg and in his free time enjoys watching Manchester United, working out and watching action/thriller movies.
