Scott Kuehn joined the Tribe in August 2018 as an Athletics Performance Coach - Coordinator of Data Science. He is responsible for overseeing the physical preparation of the women’s lacrosse and women’s soccer programs, and assisting with preparation of the football program. Kuehn is also responsible for the collection, analysis and visualization of all training load, biometric and key performance data.
 
Kuehn was previously at the University of Tulsa as a graduate assistant from May 2016 to 2018, where he worked with football, women’s tennis, softball, and the 2018 Pro Day class. In the fall of 2015, he worked with the University of Kentucky football program as an intern under the guidance of Erik Korem. Prior to his move to Lexington, Ky., Kuehn was the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Metea Valley High School in Aurora, Ill. He previously spent over seven years in the private sector at Acceleration Sports Performance - Naperville, working with youth to professional level athletes in a variety of sports.
 
Kuehn completed his Master of Science in Math and Science Education at the University of Tulsa in May 2018 and his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science at Illinois State University in December 2014. He  was also a three-time letterman on the Redbird football team.
 
Kuehn is certified through the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) through the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association.
