About Thea
Thea joined the Tribe Sports Medicine staff in the Summer of 2018.  Prior to her employment at William & Mary, Thea completed her B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016, then went on to work as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Florida State University.  While at Florida State, she worked with the Seminole men's tennis, women's soccer, and women's beach volleyball programs.  She also received her M.S in Sport Management from FSU in 2018.  Thea will be working primarily with the women's volleyball and women's gymnastics teams at William & Mary.

As an athletic trainer, Thea believes in individualized and athlete centered care with a focus on injury prevention.  She strives to be an advocate for her student athletes to ensure their mental, emotional, and physical health.  When injuries inevitably occur, she feels it is her duty to uncover and resolve the root cause through an integrated approach with William & Mary’s high performance team.

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, she now resides in Williamsburg. In her free time, she likes to read and stay active in the gym.  She also enjoys watching college football, college basketball, tennis, and corny musicals.
