Indoor: Set career-bests at every distance ... Runner-up in the 5,000m at the Virginia Tech Challenge, finishing in 17:35.16.

Cross Country: Redshirted ... Competed unattached at the Tribe's two home meets.
Indoor: Ran the 3,000m in 10:17.84 at the Patriot Games ... Competed in the mile and the 5,000m once each.
Outdoor: Scored a point for the Tribe at the CAA Championships ... Finished eighth in the 5,000m, with a time of 17:47.67.

Prep: Finished 18th at the 2008 Virginia AAA cross country championships ... Named honorable-mention All-Met by the Washington Post that season ... District cross country champion in 2009 ... All-Region in both 2008 and 2009 ... Indoors, earned all-region honors at 3,200m in 2008 and 2009 ... Repeated those awards outdoors at 3,200m, and was also all-region in the 4x800m relay ... Earned VHSL Scholar-Athlete accolades every season but one in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Anne-Marie and Mark Smith ... Aunt, Karen Lane, and uncle, Dan Lane, are both graduates of the College ... Cousin, Kerry Lane, graduated from W&M in 2012 ... Enjoys animals, cooking, and scrapbooking.
