Sierra Bastien comes to William & Mary for the 2021-22 year from NCAA Division III, Colby College where she served as Associate Head Women’s Basketball Coach. During her year with the Mules, Sierra managed game plans and ran individual skill sessions with players.
Prior to her year at Colby, Sierra served as the Director of Basketball Operations at NCAA Division I, Rider University for three seasons (2017-2020). She brings championship caliber experience to the Tribe as she contributed to the Broncs’ 2019-2020 regular season title and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. During the 2018-2019 season at Rider, the Broncs earned the league’s automatic bid to the WNIT. It marked the second time in program history and the second time in the last three years that the team appeared in the WNIT.
A native of Maplewood, NJ, Bastien graduated from Rider University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and Sports Management.
