Outdoor Track & Field: Won the javelin throw at the Fred Hardy Invitational (3/21/25), posting a mark of 60.70m (199' 2"), the 17th-best in the Southeast Region.

2023-24 Season 
Selected to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll during the fall.
Outdoor Track & Field: Posted season’s best in the javelin on way to bronze medal and All-CAA at CAA Championships with a mark of 63.33m (5/10)…Earned trip to NCAA East Region Prelims, finishing 24^th with a mark of 63.19m (5/23)…Finished first in collegiate debut at Dan Stimson Memorial with a toss of 57.50m (3/16)…Runner-up at Virginia High Performance with a mark of 60.69m (4/28)…Finished third (62.29m) at Virginia Grand Prix (4/12) … Competed in the USATF U20 Championships in June.

Prep
Finished second at the 2023 FHSAA Class 4A State Championship in the Javelin with a throw of 54.85m … Helped Niceville to the Track and Field Florida 4A Team State Championship and the District Championships in 2023 … Placed fourth at both the district and regional championships in 2023 … Competed for the Emerald Coast Track Club … Won the 2022 AAU Region 1 Champion in the javelin … Selected to the Class of 2023 Niceville High School Hall of Fame … A member of the National Honor Society and Finance Club … Graduated Summa Cum Laude … Was the Medallion Bright Futures Recipient … Played varsity football for two years as a defensive end.

Son of Todd and Yumi Lafortune … Both parents competed in collegiate athletics at the United States Air Force Academy … Father, Todd, played ice hockey, while mother, Yumi, competed in track and field … Enjoys fishing, wakeboarding, wake-surfing, boating, golfing, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
