William & Mary Athletics

2023-24 Season 
Named to Phi Beta Kappa … A W&M Provost Award winner … Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll High Honors with Distinction during the fall.  
Indoor Track & Field: Finished first at the Navy Select in the pole vault, clearing 3.90m for the 12^th best performance in program history (2/16)…Matched that mark at the CAA Championship to finish in fifth (2/22)…Finished runner-up at the George Mason Patriot Games with a mark of 3.68m (1/26).
Outdoor Track & Field: Finished runner-up at the Dan Stimson, clearing 3.72m (3/16)…Finished first at the Fred Hardy Invitational with a mark of 3.80m to move into 10^th on the W&M performers list (3/22)…Runner-up at CNU Blue & Silver Challenge (3/30).
 
Earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from W&M in May of 2024. 

2022-2023 Season
Selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team... Received William & Mary Provost Award for Academic Excellence.... Robert M. Usry Award winner, presented to the student-athlete who has been a varsity letter winner, has completed 75% of their degree requirements, and has achieved the highest GPA of all athletes in their junior year.  
Outdoor: Captured sixth place in the pole vault at the CAA Championships (05/05/23) with a new PR at 3.70m. 
 
2021-22

Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction… Received William & Mary Provost Award for Academic Excellence.
 
Prep
Finished third in the pole vault at the Virginia 6A (largest schools) state championships indoors as a senior ... Took second in the state outdoors in 2019 ... Won the region title outdoors as a senior as well ... School record-holder both indoors and outdoors ... Also a distinguished gymnast, earning team MVP honors in 2020 ... Named all-district on the vault, beam, and floor as a senior ... Also all-district in the vault as a junior and on the beam as a sophomore ... Member of the National Honor Society ... Maintained over a 4.0 GPA all four years ... Volunteered for the "Kitten College" at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington ... Competed in several Ragnar races around the country.

Daughter of Gretchen and Donald Upright ... Enjoys baking and cooking, playing with her cats, sewing, crafting, and putting puzzles together.
