Indoor: IC4A Champion in the weight throw ... First W&M athlete ever to win the weight throw ... Threw a lifetime-best 19.69m (64-7.25) to win the event ... That was the fifth lifetime-best performance of the season in the weight ... Also an IC4A qualifier in the shot put, finishing 11th overall at the championship meet ... Had two lifetime-best puts during the season ... Tied his previous best with a 15.60m (51-2.25) in the season opener at Navy in December ... At Penn State in early February, put the shot 16.56m (54-4) to earn his qualifying mark ... Had four meets over 16 meters in total ... Named second-team all-state in throws on the first-ever VaSID Indoor Track & Field All-State team ... CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for having a GPA over 3.0 in the fall semester.

Indoor: Competed at six meets in the shot put ... Best finish was third at CNU in early February ... Season-best mark of 15.60m (51-2.25) came the following week at Navy.
Outdoor: USAT&F U20 National Qualifier in the discus ... Threw the junior-weight discus 55.32m (181-6) to take sixth at the national championship meet ... NCAA Qualifier in the discus ... Finished 36th in the Eastern Semifinals with a throw of 50.93m (167-1) ... Qualified after winning the discus at the Stimson Memorial Meet in late March with a throw of 52.35m (171-9) ... That performance earned him CAA Athlete of the Week honors ... Earned All-CAA honors in both the discus and the hammer at the conference championships ... Finished third in both events, as well as seventh in the shot put ... Threw the hammer a lifetime-best 51.83m (170-0) at the CAA Championships ... Best shot put of the year came in the season-opening W&M Triangular, with a put of 15.48m (50-9.5) ... Finished third in the unseeded shot put at the Colonial Relays, and sixth in the championship discus ... Runner-up in the discus at George Mason ... Son of Yanina Yearwood ... Mother played basketball at Panama Canal College ... Uncle, Julian Yearwood, played football at East New Mexico University before a career in Arena Football with the Bakersfield Blitz ... Grand uncle, Rennie Stennett, played professional baseball for 11 years mostly with the Pittsburgh Pirates (winning the 1979 World Series), and is one of two players in MLB history to go 7-for-7 in a nine-inning game ... Enjoys lifting weights, listening to music, and playing basketball.
