Indoor: Opened the year with IC4A-qualifiers in both the shot and the weight at the CNU Holiday Open ... Threw the weight 18.25m (59-10.5) to place second and won the shot with a put of 17.38m (57-0.25).

Indoor: IC4A Champion in the shot put, winning with a lifetime-best put of 18.00m (59-0.75) ... Also named All-East in the weight with a throw of 19.00m (62-4) ... Set his personal-best in the weight at Virginia Tech with a throw of 19.09m (62-7.75) ... Won the shot at every meet during the season except Penn State (5 of 6) ... Also won the weight at GMU in January, with a throw of 17.98m (59-0).

Outdoor: CAA Champion in both the shot and the discus, and runner-up in the hammer ... Won the discus with a lifetime-best and CAA-record throw of 51.98m (170-6) ... All-East in the discus with a fifth-place finish at the IC4A Championships ... Qualified for the NCAA Semifinals in the shot put for the first time, but could not compete due to injury ... Broke W&M's ~40-year-old school record in the shot put with a put of 17.66m (57-11.25) at the Virginia Challenge in mid-April ... Set a career-best in the hammer at 54.14m (177-7) at the Richmond meet ... Won a total of seven competitions ... Indoor: Qualified for the IC4A Championships in both the weight throw and the shot put ... Became just the second man in college history, and first since 1977, to break 57 feet in the shot put ... One of just five to ever surpass 59 feet in the weight throw ... Finished the season second all-time indoors in the shot and fourth all-time in the weight ... Won seven competitions, including six in a row from Jan. 24 to Feb. 8 ... Placed 10th in the shot put and 16th in the weight throw at the IC4A Championships
Outdoor: Claimed double CAA titles in the shot put and the discus ... Just the sixth man ever to win both events in the same meet, and first since 2011 ... Also took a silver medal in the hammer throw ... Came closer than any man to achieving the treble since W&M's Mike Howell actually did it in 1992 ... Won a total of seven competitions during the year ... Also won the shot and the discus at the Tribe Invitational to start the year ... Was named CAA Athlete of the Week on March 25 for the feat ... Indoor: Set the Tribe's freshman record in the weight throw ... Threw the weight 16.14m (52-11.5) at Virginia Tech ... Best finish was second in the weight at CNU in December ... In the shot put, finished second at George Mason ... Had a season-best put of 14.95m (49-0.75) at CNU in December.
Outdoor: Finished sixth at the USAT&F Junior Championships in the shot put ... Competing with the junior-sized shot, had a put of 17.81m (58-5.25) ... Qualified for the IC4A Championships with the senior shot put ... Had a season-best put of 16.35m (53-7.75) at CNU in April ... Won that event, as well as the discus that day as well ... Runner-up in the shot put at the CAA Championships with a put of 16.08m (52-9.25) ... Finished third in the discus at the conference meet for a second All-CAA honor, and also scored in sixth place in the hammer ... Broke the freshman record in the hammer throw with that effort of 49.04m (160-11), and improved it the next week at UVA to 50.48m (165-7) ... Season-best in the discus came at Richmond, where he threw it 46.60m (152-11).
