Indoor: Finished fourth at the CNU Holiday Open 3,000m in 8:48.33.
Outdoor: Ran both the 5,000m and the 3,000m steeplechase at the CAA Championships ... Placed 10th and 11th, respectively ... Won the 3,000m at CNU in April.

Prep
Won the Virginia Independent Schools' state title in cross country in 2012 ... Also won the conference title on the way to that state championship ... Named to the Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro first-team for all three seasons as a senior ... Won the conference title indoors at 3,200m, and finished second in the 1,600m in 2013 ... As a junior in 2012, won the state title indoors at 3,200m and finished second at 1,600m.  Member of the National Honor Society ... President of the Youth and Government Club ... Member of the Student Conduct Committee.

Son of Paul and Gail Strehler ... Sister, Barbara, ran at Virginia ... Enjoys playing ping-pong, ultimate frisbee, and volunteering with the Special Olympics.
