2025-26 Season
Outdoor Track & Field: Competed in 4 meets, recording 3 top-5 finishes … Ran on the 4x100 relay that placed 5th in 42.82 at Richmond’s Fred Hardy Invitational (Mar. 20)… Placed 2nd in the javelin at the Dan Stimson Memorial Invitational (Mar. 28)… Competed at the Colonial Relays (Apr. 4), placing 8th in the javelin and 17th in the pole vault… Finished 2nd in the decathlon with 6,033 points at the CAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship (May 16), also placing 9th in the pole vault and 8th in the javelin at the meet.

2024-25 Season
Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction during the fall semester … A W&M Provost  Award winner.
Indoor Track & Field: Finished 14th in the heptathlon at the Liberty Kickoff (12/5-6/24) with a score of 4,136 points, the 46th-best mark in the Southeast Region … Placed ninth in the heptathlon at the CAA Championships (2/26-27/25) with 4,014 points.
Outdoor Track & Field: Finished fourth in the javelin throw and fifth in the decathlon at the CAA Championships (5/14-15/25) … With a mark of 41.43m (135' 11"), finished third in the javelin throw at the Dan Stimson Memorial Invitational (3/29/25).

2023-24 Season 
A W&M Provost Award winner … Selected to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll with High Honors during the fall… CSC Academic All-District.
Cross Country: Did not see action
Indoor Track & Field: Apart of victorious distance medley relay team the George Mason Patriot Games (1/27)…Posted a personal best in the 500m at the Darius Dixon Memorial, crossing the line in 1:10.68 (2/9).
Outdoor Track & Field: Posted personal bests in the 400m and 1500m at the CNU Blue & Silver Challenge with times of 52.57 and 4:15.44 respectively (3/30)…Apart of fourth place distance medley relay team at Colonial Relays (4/5).

2022-23 Season
Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction... Received William & Mary Provost Award for Academic Excellence.

Prep
Finished third at  NY State Federation Cross Country Meet in 2021 … Finished as the state runner-up in the 4x400m relay at the 2022 NY State Indoor Championship … Finished second in the 4x400m relay at the 2022 Millrose Games … Received outdoor track team MVP honors in 2019 and 2022 … Was the indoor track team MVP in 2020 … A member of the German Culture Club (2018-19), Home Finance Club (2020-22), and the Investment and Entrepreneurial Society (2020-22) … Earned eight varsity letters in high school.

Son of Franz Oettl and Valerie Vann-Oettl … Brother, Raphael, ran track and field and cross country at Davidson from 2018-22 … Enjoys golf, swimming, hiking, biking, cooking, and watching sports.
