Indoor: Competed at five meets in his first season ... Recorded a best of 6.33m (20-9.25) in the long jump at CNU in January ... Also ran a season-best 7.24 in the 60m dash at the same meet ... Hit 1.80m (5-10.75) in the high jump at CNU in December.
Outdoor: Earned All-CAA honors as part of the Tribe's 4x100m relay at the CAA Championships ... Helped the team take third in 44.47 seconds ... Also competed in three individual events, scoring two team points ... Ran 11.09 for sixth in the 100m dash, improving 0.26 on his best from the season ... Also took sixth in the high jump, and ninth in the long jump ... Won his first two events of the spring at the Tribe Invitational ... Ran 11.35 in the 100m dash and leapt 6.60m (21-8) in the long jump ... Best of 6.71m (22-0.25) in the long jump came the next week at Richmond ... Got up to 1.89m (6-2.25) in the high jump at the Colonial Relays.

2012-13
Member of the Tribe football team ... Scout team wide receiver.

Prep
Three-year letterwinner as a quarterback, wide receiver, free safety, kick returner and punt returner for head coaches Dennis McCall and Steve Monninger at Norfolk Academy ... Two-time team captain and three-year starter ... Also a four-year letterwinner on the track team ... Honored as the track team's MVP twice and earned the Coach's Award three times ...  Won conference all-around MVP as a sophomore and field event MVP as a senior ... Placed second in the long jump at the state meet in 2012 ... Also a three-time state runner-up in the high hurdles (twice in the 55h and once in the 110h) ... Six-time high hurdle state finalist ... Holds four school records, including the 110 hurdle record of 14.54 seconds ... Member of DECA marketing club and won a citywide DECA competition in the Job Interview Category ... Also a member of CEAC/Multicultural Club, the Debate Team Club and the French Exchange Program.
