Three-event finalist at the CAA Championships ... Took fourth overall in the 200 breast ... Set a lifetime-best of 2:01.18 in the prelims ... Also tied for sixth in the 100 breast, after another lifetime-best 55.36 in the prelims ... Began his week with a 15th-place finish in the 200 IM ... During the season, swam on the pool record and dual-meet record-setting 200 medley relay against Davidson ... At the mid-season West Virginia Invitational, took ninth in the 100 breast and 14th in the 200 breast ... Also took 30th in the 200 IM ... Totaled 96.25 points with eight podium finishes ... CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll during the fall for having a GPA over 3.0.
2018-19
Named the CAA Swimmer of the Week on Feb. 12 after swimming his way onto the CAA squad ... At the Janis Hape Dowd Carolina Invitational, finished second in both the 200 breast and the 200 IM, as well as sixth in the 100 breast ... Set lifetime-bests in all three events ... Went on to finish 10th at the CAA Championships in both breaststroke events, further improving his 100 breast best ... Ranked second among freshmen with 97.5 total points, including six podium finishes ... Won the 200 IM against VMI on Senior Day ... Also took third in the 100 breast against the Keydets ... Runner-up against Davidson in the 100 breast ... At the TYR Invitational in November, finished 10th in the 50 breast and 15th overall in the 200 breast ... Also made the "C" finals in the 100 breast and the 400 IM ... Won the bonus finals in the 100 breast to finish 17th overall ... CAA Academic Honor Roll for having a GPA over 3.0.
