Returned to the squad to lead the middle-distance events ... Finished 16th at the CAA Championships in both the 500 free and the 200 back ... Just missed advancing in the 200 free, finishing 17th in the prelims ... At the Hokie Fall Invitational, finished ninth overall in the 1650 free ... Also finished 11th in the 500 free and 14th in the 200 back ... Won the bonus heat of the 200 free ... Won his second race of the year, the 200 back against Mary Washington.

Was one of the team's top young distance talents ... Finished seventh overall at the CAA Championships in the 1650 free ... Also made the consolation finals of the 500 free, finishing 10th overall ... At the Terrapin Cup Invitational, took 14th in the mile ... Finished 19th in both the 500 free and the 400 IM ... Won four races during the year, including the final three 1000 frees of the spring against East Carolina, Delaware, and Mary Washington ... Finished third or better in every race during his first three meets, including a win in the 100 free against Howard.
