Swam at the Cavalier Invitational for the second time ... Won the prelims of the 200 back in 1:46.94, before finishing second in the finals ... Also took fourth in the 100 back ... At the Hokie Fall Invitational, finished 15th in both backstroke events ... Also took 23rd in the 100 fly ... Runner-up in the 100 back against Davidson.

Runner-up in the 100 back and the 200 back at the Cavalier Invitational ... Held the freshman record in the 200 back until the CAA Championships, after swimming 1:49.22 ...
