Prep and Personal
With his combination of academic and athletic excellence, Spencer stands right in line with the traditions of William and Mary Men’s Gymnastics … Spencer joins teammate Jacopo Gliozzi as a Monroe Scholar and his fellow classmates as a USA Gymnastics Academic All-American … He also shares Jacopo’s success on Pommel Horse, as Spencer finished 2^nd on the event at last year’s Junior Olympics … Spencer also trains Rings and Vault where his strength and clean execution will make him contender in the years ahead … Spencer is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, volunteers to teach Sunday school at his church, and enjoys math, chess, and computer programing in his spare time … He plans to major in Math with the intention of pursuing academic research in Pure Math after graduation.
