Senior Season (2011-12)
Started 24 of his 30 appearances, averaging 4.0 points and a career-high 4.3 rebounds per game ... Received team awards for Defensive Award and the Mark Batzel Award, which is given to the player that displays leadership, determination, mental toughness and heart, while having the ability to instill those qualities in his teammates ... Became one of just 13 players in program annals with 200 career assists and 100 career steals ... A two-time team captain (2010-11, 2011-12) ... On Senior Day, blocked a career-high tying two blocked shots and added eight points, including a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line ... Scored a pair of game-winners during the regular season for the Tribe against Northeastern (2/13) and at Hofstra (1/2) ... Pulled down an offensive rebound, collected himself and sank a banking six-foot jumper from the right side with 3.8 seconds left to give W&M a 53-52 win over Northeastern ... Came up with two of the biggest plays of the game in the victory at Hofstra ... With W&M trailing by two points with less than a minute remaining, made a steal on the defensive end against CAA Player of the Year Charles Jenkins that resulted in a fastbreak bucket to tie the game for the Tribe ... Then converted on the game-winning conventional 3-point play ... Appeared in 27 games, averaging 15.1 minutes per game after missing the first six games of the year ... Averaged 2.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game ... Pulled down a season-high five rebounds and dished out a pair of assists compared to zero turnovers in the NIT game at North Carolina (3/16) ... Turned in a nice floor game with four assists compared to zero turnovers and two steals vs. James Madison (1/14) ... Started each of the Tribe's last 14 games ... Led W&M in assists over the last 14 games at 2.7 per contest ... Pulled down five rebounds while dishing out two assists compared to zero turnovers with a career-best two blocked shots in the CAA Tournament against JMU ... Hauled in a career-best 10 rebounds, while dishing out four assists compared to zero turnovers in a victory at Towson ... Knocked down both his 3-point attempts at VCU, finishing with seven points and a team-best two steals ... Pulled down nine rebounds at Delaware ... Registered five assists against the Blue Hens ... Scored a career-high 10 points with six rebounds against James Madison ... Led the Tribe with two steals against the Dukes ... Turned in a solid all-around game at UNCW, finishing with seven points, including a perfect 4-of-4 from the free throw line, while also providing the College with a good defensive effort ... Drew the defensive assignment of All-Ivy League and eventual NBA guard Jeremy Lin in W&M's win over Harvard and held him to just nine points on 3-of-12 from the floor and 1-of-4 from 3-point range after Lin entered the game averaging 18.6 points per game and shooting averages of 51.9 percent from the floor and 48.8 percent from 3-point range ... Dished out a team-high five assists and pulled down six rebounds with his first collegiate blocked shot against Navy ... Led W&M with five assists at Ohio.
