Jason Boardley joined the William & Mary staff as the program’s director of basketball operations in June of 2022. He is in his second season with the Tribe.
 
In each of the two seasons with Boardley on staff (the 2020-21 season was cancelled due to COVID-19), Shepherd University earned a spot in the PSAC Tournament. The Rams won 10 PSAC East games in 2019-20 and finished with 14 wins overall. Two Shepherd student-athletes were named to the All-PSAC East First Team. In total, four Rams were selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team over Boardley’s three seasons, including Kyle Dagget being named an Academic All-American in 2022.
 
Prior to joining the staff at Shepherd, Boardley served as a graduate assistant at Division I Mount St. Mary’s University in 2018-19. With The Mount, he assisted coaches in practice, as well as individual and group workouts. He also analyzed opponent’s film and developed scouting reports based on their tendencies. In addition, he worked directly with the director of operations in the planning and organization of camps and recruit visits. He earned his master's degree in sports management from Mount St. Mary’s during his time in Emmitsburg.
 
Broadley served as an assistant coach at Frederick Community College under Emonte Hill during the 2017-18 season. The Cougars achieved a record of 22-6 and finished with a No. 14 ranking in the National JUCO Poll. He worked closely with the guards and wings during the year, while also leading the weight and conditioning program. During his time at Frederick, he oversaw the recruitment for the class of 2019 by maintaining their recruiting database. In addition, he maximized exposure and recruitment of the 2017-18 sophomores with all six upperclassmen continuing their basketball careers at 4-year schools.
 
Boardley attended High Point University in High Point, N.C., and graduated cum laude in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in English while minoring in coaching.
 
During his collegiate career, he interned at Wesleyan Christian Academy for the boys' basketball team under Keith Gatlin. He assisted with workouts and practice. Throughout his summers in college, Boardley worked at many basketball camps around the DMV area, including the John Thompson Basketball School, Mike Brennan Basketball Camp, Towson Basketball Camp, Mike Rhoades Basketball Camp, and Hoop Group Camps.

Boardley is originally from Silver Spring, Md., and graduated from Springbrook High School, where he played basketball for four years.
