Sam Serbay enters his first season as a member of W&M’s staff and serves as the assistant director of operations.
Serbay's primary responsibilities include assisting with the coordination of travel, meals, housing and other logistics pertaining to the football program, as well as providing support services for the Tribe’s recruiting efforts.
Serbay joined the Tribe after serving as the offensive quality control specialist at Richmond in 2017. Additionally, he assisted with the Spiders’ recruiting efforts.
Prior to joining UR’s staff, the Fredericksburg, Va., native spent a year in the Cleveland Browns’ scouting department after a one-year stint at Towson as the defensive quality control specialist.
Serbay began his coaching career as an assistant at James Monroe High School (2010-14) in Fredericksburg, Va.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from VCU in December of 2014.
