Earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll distinction during the fall semester.
Cross Country: Named All-CAA for the second consecutive season … Named CAA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week after claiming third place at the Pirate Cross Country Invitational (10/4/24) in a career-best 8,000m time of 23:45.8 … Appeared in four of six meets … Placed third at the CAA Championships (11/1/24), marking the Tribe’s best individual finish at the event since 2021 … Paced the team at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship (11/15/24), finishing 80th in 32:01.1 … Led the Tribe at the Panorama Farms Invitational (10/19/24) at 24:23.2.
Indoor Track & Field: Named CAA Indoor Track and Field Rookie of the Year, becoming the first Tribe athlete to win the award … Scored two podium finishes at the CAA Championships (2/26-27/25), claiming second place in the 5,000m in 13:59.62 and third place in the 3,000m in 8:15.55 … Both marks broke the program’s freshman records, with the former time ranking as the 10th-fastest in school history and the 29th-best in the Southeast Region … Set a personal record (4:16.12) in the mile at the East Coast Invitational (2/7-8/25) … Won the 5,000m at the Brant Tolsma Invitational (1/23-25/25).
Outdoor Track & Field: At the CAA Championships (5/14-15/25), claimed a fourth-place finish in the 5,000m and a fifth-place finish in the 10,000m … Set a personal best (29:38.27) in the 10,000m at the Penn Relays (4/24-26/25), the 32nd-best mark in the Southeast Region … Posted a personal best of 3:54.95 in the 1,500m at the Duke Invitational (4/10-12/25).

2023-24 Season
Named to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll during the fall.
Cross Country: Earned All-CAA honors … Was W&M’s No. 2 runner at the CAA Championships (10/27/23), placing 13th at 24:48.0 … The Tribe’s top finisher at the NCAA Southeast Regional (11/10/23), placing 47th in a time of 30:16.7 … Opened the year running unattached as the Spider Alumni Open (9/2/23), placing 20th at 18:35.7 … W&M’s top runner at the Paul Short Run (9/30/23), finishing 72nd in 24:53.3 … Placed 29th as W&M’s third runner at the Virginia XC23 Pre-Nationals (10/14/23).
Indoor Track & Field: Did not compete.
Outdoor Track & Field: Earned All-CAA honors … Won a bronze medal finishing third in the 10,000m (30:52.93) at the CAA Championships (5/10-11/24) … Placed ninth in the 5000m (14:49.37) at the championship as well … Ran a W&M freshman record 29:56.32 in the 10,000m at the Raleigh Relays (3/28-30/24) … Posted a season-best 14:30.5 in the 5000m at the Wake Forest Invitational (4/19/24).

Prep
A three-time South Carolina Individual state cross country champion (2020, 2021, 2022) … Was the runner-up as a freshman in 2019 … Led Augusta Prep to state team titles in cross country in 2019, 2020 and 2021 … The Cavs finished third in 2022 … Won individual state championships in the 1600m and 3200m in 2021, 2022, and 2023 … Added the state title in the 800m in 2023 … Finished as the state runner-up in 2021 and 2022 … Earned another state runner-up as a member of the 4x400 relay in 2022 … Led Augusta Prep to team state track runner-up finishes in 2021 and 2022 … Posted a prep career-best of 2:00.81 in the 800m at 2023 state track meet  … Ran prep career-bests of 4:18.56 in the 1600m and 9:16.77 in the 3200m at the RunningLane Track Championships in 2022 and 2023, respectively … In the 5000m (XC), ran a prep career-best of 15:04.25 at Alexander ASICS Invitational … Placed first at Mike Moore Lake Murray Invitational and the Georgia High School Meet of Champions in 2022 … Placed fourth at Alexander ASICS Invitational in 2022 … Finished 29th at 2022 Eastbay South Championships … A member of the student council all 4 years of high school and served as president during his senior year … A member of the National Honor Society, student section club and service club in high school.

Son of Charles and Megan Trapp … Born in Summit, N.J. … Mother, Megan, ran cross country and track at Fairfield University, and his father, Charles, played lacrosse at Fairfield … Enjoys fishing, being outdoors, playing sports, playing chess, and hanging out with friends.
