WHY HAS WILLIAM & MARY ATHLETICS SWITCHED TO MOBILE TICKETING?
William & Mary Athletics has switched to mobile ticketing in order to provide an easier and safer process entering our athletics venues. Mobile ticketing has also reduced theft, counterfeit, or stolen tickets.
I’M ALREADY AT THE VENUE, BUT HAVE YET TO DOWNLOAD MY TICKET. HOW CAN I STILL GET IN?
If you have your smartphone, simply log in to your account to download your tickets. We highly recommend downloading your tickets before you arrive to the game, as this will reduce unnecessary wait times.
ARE MOBILE TICKETS THE SAME AS A PRINTED TICKET?
Each mobile ticket should be treated like any other valid ticket. Mobile tickets are individually scanned allowing one scan per entry. Any attempts to duplicate, alter, or sell copies of the mobile tickets may result in being refused admission to the event. This provides heightened security by identifying counterfeit and stolen tickets.
WILL A SCREENSHOT TICKET WORK AT THE GATE?
No. Screenshots of a ticket or pictures of the barcode are not be valid for entry.
CAN I PRINT MY MOBILE TICKETS?
No. Mobile tickets cannot be printed onto paper and will not be readable with our scanners.
CAN I HAVE MULTIPLE TICKETS ON A SINGLE SMARTPHONE?
Yes, you can swipe through your available tickets (using your digital/smartphone wallet) at the venue if the entire party is present. For easier entry, it is recommended to send each individual their own ticket.
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A SMARTPHONE, OR MY BATTERY DIED, OR SOMETHING ELSE HAPPENED ON EVENT DAY?
- If someone in your party has a smartphone, before heading to the venue you can transfer your tickets to them via your ticket account. One smartphone can be used to scan multiple tickets so you can get in.
- If you do not own a smartphone, please contact the Tribe Ticket Office for further assistance.
- On event days, please visit the ticket office for assistance.
HOW DO I MANAGE MY TICKETS?
To manage your mobile tickets, please log into your online account with your credentials. After logging in, you will see the available tickets in your account under “My Upcoming Events." A step-by-step guideline will be made available for fans before the arrival of season tickets into your account this summer. Information will include how to download your tickets, transfer tickets, and receive a ticket transfer.
CAN I TRANSFER MY TICKETS AFTER THE HAVE BEEN DOWNLOADED TO MY APPLE/GOOGLE WALLET?
Yes! Once the ticket transfer is complete, your original ticket will be voided and removed from your digital wallet.
CAN I TRANSFER MY TICKETS AFTER THE GAME HAS STARTED?
Yes! Ticket transfers will work up until the end of the game.
WHAT IF I HAVE NO INTERNET CONNECTION OR MOBILE SERVICES ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON GAME DAY?
We highly recommend downloading your ticket to your phone before arriving at the game. If you have an iPhone, your tickets can be stored in your Apple Wallet. Android users can store their tickets in their Goggle Pay Wallet.
WHAT IF I LOSE MY TICKET DELIVERY EMAIL?
Your mobile tickets live in your online account. Using your email address and password, you can log into your account at any time to find your tickets.
WILL MY SEASON PARKING PASS ALSO BE DIGITAL?
Parking passes will still be printed and mailed separately once the season ticket renewal process has concluded.
WHEN CAN I ACCESS MY TICKETS?
For season ticket holders, the Tribe Ticket Office anticipates tickets will be ready for download about two weeks before the start of the season. You will be notified once tickets are in your online account and ready to manage.
