The Student Health Center or the local hospital can provide you with
confidential screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STI) and pregnancy. Trained staff at the Student Health Center (757-221-4386) or a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center (757-984-6000) can discuss medical options.

The Dean of Students Office investigates reports of student sexual assault and harassment. This prompt, fair process is designed to determine whether a violation of university policy occurred. Interim steps are taken to protect and support students making a report. Office staff can also help students file criminal charges with law enforcement, if a crime has occurred.
