The SAAC elects officers for the academic year. These include President, Vice President, Secretary, and Finance Managers. Committee Chairs are elected for each of the standing committees, which typically include Service, Social, and Public Relations. Other leadership opportunities include serving as event chairs, liaisons to campus partners such as the Career Center, and leading projects such as Tribe Tutors. Two representatives are selected each year to represent the W&M-SAAC on the CAA-SAAC. The CAA-SAAC provides an opportunity at the Conference level for student athletes to offer input to the Conference Office regarding policies that effect student athletes, and to serve as a link to the NCAA-SAAC. Conference SAAC representatives attend a two-day CAA meeting at one of the member institutions each fall.
