The College requires students to declare an academic major upon completion of 54 credit hours, but students may do so after the completion of 39 credit hours. Be advised that NCAA rules stipulate that student-athletes must declare their academic major prior to the fifth semester of enrollment to be eligible for intercollegiate competition. Transfer students must include semesters taken elsewhere when calculating the semesters of enrollment.
