Made the championship finals in both the 200 IM and the 200 fly at the CAA Championships ... Finished seventh in both events ... Broke W&M's school record in the 100 IM at Navy in early October, swimming 51.34 seconds ... Although passed as the school record later in the year, that still ranks as the Tribe's freshman record and dual-meet record in the event ... At the TYR Invitational in November, made the championship finals in all four of his events ... Finished fourth in both the 400 IM and the 100 IM ... Took fifth in both the 200 IM and the 200 fly ... Led all freshmen on the year with 208.5 points, eight victories, and 21 podium finishes ... In dual-meet action, won the 100 IM against both Towson and Johns Hopkins ... Also won the 200 free against Hopkins, and the 200 IM against UMBC ... Won the 200 IM againsst both Delaware and UNCW at the CAA Pod Meet ... Won the 200 fly against Davidson ... Final win came in the prelims of the 100 IM at the TYR Invitational ... Finished the year ranked 57th nationally in the 100 IM ... W&M Provost's Award for having a GPA over 3.5 ... CAA Academic Honor Roll for having a GPA over 3.0.
