Was a three-sport athlete at the Covenant School, playing baseball, soccer and football … On the baseball field, he earned VISAA Division II First-Team All-State honors from 2009-2011 … Garnered VISAA Division II State Player of the Year award … Also earned Scrimmage Play Magazine Player of the Year honors … Played his club baseball with Albemarle Storm, Richmond Braves National, and American Legion Post 74 … On the soccer field garnered All-VIC honors in 2011 … In football, was named Second-Team All-State as a kicker … Was a member of the Student Leadership Council, and graduated with high honors.
