Biography
Simon is poised for an excellent senior season that could easily finish with him posting scores that are high enough to rank him in William and Mary’s all-time top ten records on three events. Last season Simon managed to move up to the ninth place position on floor exercise and this season he is certainly a threat to etch his name into both the pommel horse and vaulting record books as well…Simon has a natural composure and perspective that helps to ground the entire team both in and out of the gym. As a senior, his calming presence will be quite beneficial to our team particularly in pressure packed competitions…Simon is a kinesiology and health sciences major who completed an internship in physical therapy over this past summer…He grew up in the Boston area where he was coached by Gregg Rogers at HCL Gymnastics Express… Simon is the son of Jerry and Donna Casey.
