Indoor: Opened the indoor season with a massive personal-best of 13.29m (43-7.25) in the weight throw at CNU ... Placed seventh in the event, and scored three team points.
Outdoor:

2012-13
Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Put things together at the end of the year, throwing for a lifetime-best 41.89m (137-5) in the hammer at the CAA Championships ... Placed 11th in the conference meet ... Also surpassed 41m at the New Captains Classic, placing third.

2011-12
Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Concentrated on the hammer throw, where she exhibited marked improvement ... First throw of the year at the Tribe Invitational was 38.99m (127-11), more than seven feet past her best freshman mark ... Had another massive improvement at the New Captain's Classic, when she took sixth with a throw of 41.63m (136-7) ... Competed in the hammer at the CAA Championships.

2010-11
Indoor: Redshirted ... Threw once unattached, throwing the weight 11.28m at CNU in February.
Outdoor: Competed in both the shot put and the hammer throw at the CAA Championships ... Took 11th in the former, and 14th in the later, both with season-best performances.

Prep: Ninth in the shot put at the Virginia AA outdoor state championships ... Indoors, took 13th in the state ... Captained the track team in each of her last two years, the volleyball team as a senior, and basketball as a freshman and sophomore ... Warhill's Athlete of the Year in 2009-10 ... Honorable-mention all-district as an outside hitter on the volleyball team ... Also earned two letters in basketball as a forward ... President of the National German Honor Society ... Served on Warhill's Model UN team that was named an Outstanding Delegation at the most recent national congress ... Member of the National Honor Society and the Math Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Lisa and Donald Challis ... Enjoys jogging, playing volleyball, and watching TV.
