Alex currently ranks number two in our all-time records on vaulting, eighth on high bar and tenth on both the pommel horse and parallel bars...During his tenure at W&M, he has earned USAG Collegiate All-American honors on vaulting and  second team Academic All-American honors while taking on a wide array of academic challenges from learning some tough math on the fly in applied financial derivatives to independent studies on the Alexander Technique...Ultimately he will graduate with a major in psychology and a minor in math...Alex truly never got to work out without major restrictions due to shoulder and back problems which limited him from day one in the gym but he still managed to contribute to the team significantly by freely sharing his technical knowledge of the sport... His parents are Dan and Daidre Egerter and  he was coached by Guard Young who is now at Byers Gymnastics...Outside of the gym, Alex has developed interest in multiple forms of alternative exercise ranging from Qi Gong and yoga to Tai Chi...Additionally, Alex has been working a lot of hand balancing and is looking to join alumni Ramon Jackson (Lion King at Disneyworld), Dave Locke (Cirque du Soliel's Elvis in Las Vegas), and Josh Fried (La Reve in Las Vegas) in the performance/entertainment industry in a Cirque type production. He has made it to the final cut of ten for a contract with La Reve in Las Vegas and is also a good match for the Cirque production in Moscow.
