Saw action in 17 games and made seven starts… Scored four times and knocked in a pair of runs… Had six hits including a pair of doubles… Did not record an error in 33 chances… Stone one base… Recorded his first collegiate hit against UNCW on March 26 and scored his first run a day later… Went 2-3 with a double in his first multi-hit game in a start at James Madison (Apr. 23).

Played four years at Piedmont High School in Monroe, North Carolina… Was Named All-State in his junior and senior seasons… Hit .546 in his senior season… Played with the HQ4 Clippers and Five Star clubs… Was a member of the student government and FCA.

Born September 9, 2002 to Salvador and Angela Quintero… Grandfather John Mains played baseball at Ohio State.
