Sophomore Season (2021-22)
Appeared in 31 games with 10 starts … Averaged 7.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game … Shot 32.9% (68-of-207) from the field and 30% (27-of-90) from 3-point range … Connected as a 73.6% clip from the free throw line (53-of-72) … Ranked third on the team in steals (30) … Erupted for a career-high 29 points against JMU (1/15) … Was 9-of-12 from the floor, including 5-of-7 from 3-point range, against the Dukes … Helped the Tribe erase a double-digit deficit in a win over Northeastern (12/31), scoring 11 points and registering a season-high four steals … Tallied four steals against Mary Baldwin (11/27) … Scored 14 points and dished out four assists at Norfolk State (11/16) … Dished out  a season-high five assists and added eight rebounds against Howard (11/21) … Scored 14 points at Davidson (12/4) … Scored 10 points and pulled down seven rebounds at Drexel (1/22) … Had a season-high eight rebounds and scored 13 points at Charleston (1/25).

Freshman Season (2020-21) 
Started all 17 games … Ranked 29th in the CAA in scoring (9.5), which was third among league rookies … Was second among league rookies in assists (2.1) … Scored in double figures on nine occasions … Tallied a career-high 16 points in a win at George Washington (12/14) and added five rebound and four assists … Scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half and OT as W&M overcame a 19-point first-half deficit … Scored 15 points and tallied six rebounds and a career-high five assists at Drexel (1/15) … Was a perfect 3-of-3 from 3 vs. the Dragons … Pulled down a career-high seven rebounds at Drexel (1/17) … Opened his career with 13 points, including 7-of-8 from the free throw line to go with four assists at ODU (11/28) … Shot 80.6% (25-of-31) at the free throw line … Posted 12 points at Virginia (12/22) … Named to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

Averaged 17.9 points and 2.3 assists per game as a senior for Trevor Brown at National Christian Academy in Fort Washington, Md. … Named to the All-Capital Beltway Athletic Association First Team in 2020 … An honorable mention Washington Post All-Met selection as a senior … Selected to the Bojangles Bash First Team after scoring 33 points in a win over Cardinal Newman in December 2019 … Scored 30 points in leading NCA to an 11-point comeback win over No. 8 Rock Creek Christian in January 2020 … Averaged 19.5 points per game to earn All-Tournament honors at the 2019 Slam Dunk to the Beach in December 2019 … Named the DMV Fall Elite MOP in 2019 … As a junior at Clarksburg High School in Clarksburg, Md., averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game, shooting 45% from the field and 33% from 3-point range … Played AAU for the Crusaders Elite U16 and the DMV Stags U17 … A member of the Black Student Union in high school … During the off-season, trained youth biweekly at Plum Gar Community Center in Germantown, Md.

Son of Yuri Covington and Shamara Quinonez …  His uncle, Isiah Walker, played two years at Keystone College and is the owner of NEPA Stars and Stripes basketball clinic in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. … His cousin, Brandon Wood, played collegiately at Valparaiso and Michigan State and professionally with the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G-League and BBC Monthey in the Swiss Basketball League … Enjoys video games, watching basketball and watching Netflix.
