Senior (2024)
Played in 49 games and made 41 starts at catcher and two as designated hitter… Led the Tribe with 15 HBP… Finished third on the team with six home runs… Tied for third on the Tribe with a career high 38 walks… Caught 17 runners stealing, tied for the seventh most in program history… Had 33 hits, 29 runs and 26 RBI… Reached base five times with two hits and three walks, knocking in three runs and scoring two against Holy Cross (2/18)… Homered twice and hit a double, notching three RBI against Fordham (3/8)… Knocked in four, drew three walks and had a pair of hits, including a home run, and scored two runs in victory over Quinnipiac (3/17)… Homered and reached base five times two hits, two walks and a HBP while driving in three runs against No. 9 East Carolina (4/16)… Was hit by pitches in five consecutive games (5/4-16).
 
Junior (2023)
Played in 52 games, making 45 starts… Finished third on the team with 39 RBI and fourth with 37 runs scored… Had 39 hits, 10 doubles, one triple, six home runs… Had a .978 fielding percentage and threw out eight base stealers… Had eight games with multiple hits and was third on the team with 10 multi-RBI games… Knocked in four and scored three runs in a win over Marist (2/26)... Scored a pair and drove in four in a win over George Mason (3/21)... Was 2-2 with a homer in a win over St. John’s (3/31)... Was 3-6 with five runs driven in and two doubles over the first two games at Stony Brook (4/7-8)... Homered in a series-clinching win over Elon (4/16)... Hit two homers, knocked in nine, and scored four times in a series against Delaware (4/28-29)... Drove in three in a series-clinching win over Northeastern (5/14).
 
Sophomore (2022)
Started 23 games and saw action in 31 contests behind the plate… Had a .420 on base percentage to lead all players… Stroked 19 hits including four doubles and a homer… Scored 12 runs and knocked in 15 men… Made his season debut with a season-high three hit game with a double, grand slam, with a pair of walks in a win over Rhode Island (2/19)… Had five games with multiple runs batted in and three multi-hit games… Had a double and knocked in three runs in a win over George Mason (3/20)... Had two hits and scored twice in a win over Towson (4/10)... Also had a two-RBI double in a win over VCU (4/26)... Defensively picked off two men and threw out six baserunners.
 
Freshman (2021)
Played in 13 games and made six starts as a catcher and designated hitter… Had five hits on the season and drove in a pair of runs… Recorded the first hit and RBI of his career in a start against VCU (4/13)… Had a pair of hits and an RBI at Duke (5/4)… Recorded hits in CAA play against Elon and Charleston… Had a .967 fielding percentage and threw out two men on the bases.
 
High School
Three-year letterwinner in baseball and four-year varsity soccer goalkeeper at Millville High School… Named team captain for as a senior in 2020… First-Team All-Conference in 2019… Batted .370 with two home runs as a junior… Played on the Carpenter Cup Team… Hit .340 with a home run as a sophomore… Twice named to the All-Conference team for soccer… Top three all-time at Millville in saves, shutouts and wins… Member of the National Honor Society… Four-time honor roll student… Graduated in the top 5% of his class.
 
Personal
Born August 15, 2001, in Millville, N.J., to Arthur and Jennifer Goranson… Has three brothers; Will Biggs, Zach Goranson and Tyrell Dunn… Brother, Zach, wrestled at Ursinus College… Grandfather, Robert, played football at Norwich University and was inducted into the hall of fame in 2001… Enjoys fishing and movies… Favorite food is Pizza (from New Jersey)… All-time favorite athlete is Ryan Howard… Graduated in May 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
