WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — William & Mary women's tennis opens its 2026 fall season at home this weekend, hosting the Tribe Invite at the Mackesy Tennis Center at the Millie West Courts and the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.

The two-day event is set for Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13, with play beginning at 9 a.m. each day.

Head coach Jessica Giuggioli begins her sixth season leading the Tribe after guiding W&M to its 11th consecutive CAA Championship match appearance last spring. Steve Schram enters his second season as an assistant coach.

The Tribe returns seven players from last season's squad, led by All-CAA First Team singles selection Francesca Davis and CAA Rookie of the Year Rebeka Svabikova.

Davis is joined by doubles partner Tilda Larsson after the duo earned All-CAA Second Team honors last season. Alexia Gonzalez-Galino and Mira Kernagis also garnered All-CAA Second Team recognition in doubles, while Kernagis was named to the All-CAA Third Team in singles.

Senior Parker Debnam returns after posting a 4-3 singles record last season, while sophomore Julia Viesi went 3-3 in singles and a perfect 5-0 in doubles during her freshman campaign.
W&M welcomes a pair of freshmen to the roster in Medha Chandana (Prosper, Texas) and Nicole Lukesova (Pilsen, Czech Republic).

The Tribe Invite will feature W&M along with Morgan State, North Carolina Central, Penn, Richmond and Old Dominion. The event will feature a bracket-style, double-elimination format.

Live streaming for the Tribe Invite will be available at both locations through PlaySight.

W&M's draws and opening-round matchups will be added Friday when available.
