WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The William & Mary football team will open its 2026 preseason camp Wednesday evening at the Montgomery Football Practice Facility.

The session marks the first practice in preparation for the Tribe's season opener at Villanova on Friday, Aug. 28. The conference matchup will open W&M's inaugural season in the Patriot League.

The 2026 Patriot League Preseason Football Show, which will air on Wednesday, July 29 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+, will help kick off the upcoming campaign. The two-hour show will unveil the league's 2026 preseason poll, major award winners, and preseason all-conference team.

Paige Messier will host the season preview show, featuring interviews with the head coaches from all 10 Patriot League football programs, including W&M Head Coach Mike London, as she discusses storylines heading into one of the most anticipated seasons in league history.

The Patriot League Preseason Football Show will also feature interviews with Patriot League Commissioner Jennifer Heppel and analysis from Craig Haley, FCS Senior Editor, for Stats Perform.
 
W&M enters the fall having posted five consecutive winning seasons, marking the program's longest stretch of winning ledgers since the 1990s.
