Tribe Men's and Women's Tennis Collect ITA All-Academic Team Honors

TEMPE, Ariz. — William & Mary men's and women's tennis once again excelled in the classroom, as both programs earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team honors for the 2025-26 academic year. In addition, 11 Tribe student-athletes garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition.

The William & Mary men's program received ITA All-Academic Team honors for the 10th consecutive season and the 14th time overall. The Tribe women collected the distinction for the 13th straight year and the 17th time in program history.

A total of seven men's players earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors: Raz Katz, Dylan Chou, Albert Hansen, Oliver Hague, Nikita Bortnichek, Bryan Volk and Austin Cohen.

On the women's side, Mira Kernagis, Yaelle Vaissaud, Francesca Davis and Sia Chaudry were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

The ITA recognized 162 Division I men's tennis programs and 231 Division I women's tennis programs as All-Academic Teams for the 2025-26 academic year. To earn the distinction, a program must post a cumulative team grade-point average of at least 3.20.

Individually, 1,008 Division I men's student-athletes and 1,501 Division I women's student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors. The award recognizes student-athletes who achieve at least a 3.50 grade-point average during the academic year while meeting ITA eligibility requirements.
