RICHMOND, Va. — William & Mary's Oliver Hague and Gur Trakhtenberg have been named the CAA Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Competing at No. 1 doubles, the Tribe duo went 2–0 in completed matches during William & Mary's 2–1 week, helping the team secure the doubles point in victories over Georgetown (5–2) and Norfolk State (6–1).
Hague and Trakhtenberg opened the week with a 6–2 victory over Georgetown's Arthur O'Sullivan and Cyrus Zia, helping the Tribe claim the doubles point in the win over the Hoyas. The pair followed with a 6–3 win against Norfolk State's Szymon Janzen and Szymon Malecki as William & Mary again secured the doubles point in the victory over the Spartans.
Their match against No. 59 Liberty was halted before completion after the doubles point had already been decided.
The honor marks the second time this season Hague and Trakhtenberg have earned CAA Doubles Team of the Week recognition together.
