WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The William & Mary football team will conclude its non-conference slate when it travels to NC Central on Saturday for a 1 p.m. kickoff.

W&M enters Saturday's non-conference finale with a 2-4 overall record. The Tribe has won 46 of its last 49 regular-season games against non-conference FCS opponents. With a win, W&M Head Coach Mike London will move into sole possession of second place on the program's all-time wins list. He enters Saturday's contest tied with Rube McCray with 45 victories.
Quarterback Winston Watkins currently leads the Patriot League in passing efficiency (147.0), while wide receiver Khylil Johnson ranks second nationally in yards per catch (24.56). Defensively, linebacker Harrison Johnson ranks 17th nationally with 9.8 tackles per game, while linebacker Elijah Rainer recorded a career-high 13 tackles in last week's game against Holy Cross and is tied for first nationally with two fumble recoveries.
NC Central also enters Saturday's matchup with a 2-4 overall record and has lost its last three games. However, the Eagles nearly pulled off an upset against nationally ranked Campbell last Saturday, as the teams were tied midway through the fourth quarter before the Camels escaped with a one-score victory.
NCCU ranks second nationally in forced turnovers (14) and sixth in turnover margin (+5). Defensive lineman Zarion Walters leads the Eagles with 4.5 sacks and has also recorded three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Saturday's game will mark the first meeting between W&M and NCCU.
