GAMEDAY INFORMATION
Due to traffic in the area on Friday, fans are encouraged to drive to the arena through Compton Drive via Monticello Avenue and avoid Richmond Road.

Football parking will be in effect for Saturday's alumni events. Both the black and purple lots will be reserved. Fans can pay to park in the general lot using the Passport Parking app. See the parking map here for more information.

CLEAR BAG POLICY
Furthering its commitment to a first class and secure environment at home athletic events, William & Mary will implement the use of walk-through metal detectors at the entrances to athletic venues (both ticketed and non-ticketed events) beginning in the fall of 2025. This enhanced security method mirrors standard practice at most major professional and intercollegiate athletic events throughout the country and compliments the Clear Bag Policy already in place. Fans will proceed through metal detectors prior to having their tickets scanned or entering a venue for non-tickets events. Entrants will not need to remove items such as belts, cell phones, coins, jackets, jewelry, watches, wallets, shoes or other small objects. If additional screening is necessary, security staff will ask the individual to proceed to a secondary screening area, where they will be asked to divest themselves of certain items and pass through again until clear.

LAST TIME OUT
W&M posted a split with Elon last weekend, falling on Friday in three sets before flipping the script and sweeping the Phoenix on Saturday. The Tribe posted a .374 team hitting percentage in the win, their highest in a match since Sep. 16, 2016 against Gardner-Webb and the highest in a road conference match in program history.

Devereaux Hoxsie led a balanced attack with 11 kills, while Sophia Van Name added 10 and Olivia Westfort had nine.

STAT LEADERS
Avery Horejsi ranks second in the CAA with 3.91 digs per set, placing her just outside the top-100 nationally.

Westfort has the sixth-highest hitting percentage in the league at .344. That puts her on pace to finish second in program history in the modern scoring era (since 2008), trailing only Olivia Esposito's record mark of .367 in 2023.

MILESTONE FOR KAT
Katherine Arnason recorded her 700th career kill on Oct. 17 against Elon. The senior became the 30th player in program history to reach the 700-kill plateau and the first since Julia Brown in 2021.

LAYING BRICKS
Audrey Brcka's 24 kills against North Florida on Sep. 13 were the most by any CAA player this season and the most by a Tribe player since Kate Dedrick had 25 against Elon on Feb. 26, 2021. Brcka hit a white-hot .442 in the match as she was named to the Mountaineer Classic All-Tournament team.

STUFFING THE STAT SHEET
Westfort recorded eight blocks in the Tribe's win over ETSU on Sep. 5, including three solo. That is the most blocks by any CAA player in a three-set match this season.

FIRST WIN FOR COACH
William & Mary defeated Virginia Tech in five sets on opening day to secure the first career win for head coach Kellie Catanach Johnson. It marked the Tribe's first victory over a Power Four opponent since 2016, and its first win over the Hokies since 2000.

CRAFTED BY CATE
Cate Hatfield poured in a career-high 44 assists against Virginia Tech in just her second career start. She later recorded 50 assists in a match vs. Stony Brook on Sep. 19, the most by a Tribe player since Kate Van Houten on March 20, 2021.

CAREER MILESTONE
Brcka reached the 500-kill mark for her career against Virginia Tech, delivering a match-high 18 kills. The senior captain leads the Tribe in kills (174) and points (197.5).

PRESEASON LAURELS
Two Tribe players earned preseason recognition from the league as senior opposite hitter Katherine Arnason earned Preseason All-CAA honors while graduate libero Avery Horejsi was an honorable mention selection.

Arnason had 250 kills last season which ranked second on the team. She averaged 2.53 kills per set while racking up 76.0 blocks and 298.0 points. The Marine on St. Croix, Minn. native also posted a .234 hitting percentage.

Horejsi had a highly productive first season in Williamsburg, finishing third in the CAA in digs (455) and digs per set (4.60). Both figures rank second-most in a single season during the modern scoring era (2008-present).

It marks the fourth straight year the Tribe has had representation on the Preseason All-CAA squad, equaling the program's longest streak set from 2008-11.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Hofstra is second in the CAA with a 9-1 conference record and 14-4 overall mark. The Pride leads the league in blocks per set (2.85) and opponents' hitting percentage (.162). Sophomore middle blocker Julie Amorim ranks 22nd in Division in blocks with 96 and 54th in hitting percentage at .373.

Hofstra has won the last four matchups in the series. The last Tribe victory was in the 2022 CAA Quarterfinals when W&M posted a 3-2 upset victory over the 2-seed Pride.

PROMOS
Thursday's match is a Black Out. The first 250 fans will receive a free rally towel.

Friday's match marks the Alumni Game. Alumni t-shirts will be set up at the check-in table on the concourse beginning at 3 p.m. Alumni will be invited to take a picture on the court between the second and third sets, along with a postgame photo with the current team.
