Women’s Tennis Announces 2026 Dual-Match Schedule

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – William & Mary head women's tennis coach Jessica Giuggioli announced the Tribe's 2026 dual-match schedule on Wednesday.
 
The slate features 12 of 19 matches at home, seven CAA contests and three matches against NCAA Tournament teams from last season. In total, the Tribe will also play six teams from the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The Tribe opens the season with four-straight home matches, including two against in-state foes. W&M hosts Norfolk State (Jan. 31) and Longwood (Feb. 1) during the opening weekend at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center. It marks the sixth-straight season that the Tribe will host the Spartans, while the Lancers travel to Williamsburg for the fourth year in a row.
 
The following weekend, the Green and Gold welcomes Mount St. Mary's to Williamsburg on Thursday, Feb. 5. W&M's first ranked opponent from last season is Big Ten foe Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center. The Tribe and Terps meet for the 16th time in the last 23 seasons, and Maryland finished last season ranked No. 56 nationally.
 
W&M will play four road games during the month of February. Its first road match-up comes against defending A-10 Champion VCU in Richmond on Feb. 12. Following a home match with Howard on Saturday, Feb. 14, the Tribe plays its final three of the month on the road.
 
The Tribe will head to Richmond for the second-straight week, facing the Spiders on Wednesday, Feb. 18. Later in the week, W&M travels to Wake Forest on Saturday, Feb. 21. The Deacons earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament in 2025 and finished the season ranked No. 40 nationally.
 
W&M opens its CAA slate at Towson on Saturday, Feb. 28. The Tribe will play two other CAA road matches at UNCW and at Charleston on March 12 and March 14, respectively.
 
The Tribe will host four CAA matches against Drexel (March 8), Stony Brook (March 18), Elon (April 3), and Hampton (April 8).
 
W&M's remaining nonconference schedule includes home contests against James Madison (March 6), Charlotte (March 27), and Liberty (March 29). The 49ers finished last season ranked No. 49 nationally. The Tribe also travel to East Carolina on March 22.
 
The CAA Championship returns to the Mackesy Tennis Center at the Millie West Courts for the first time since 2023. The top six teams in the league earn a spot in the championship, which is slated for April 17-19 in Williamsburg.
