Dear Friends of Tribe Athletics,

First, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in One Tribe One Day on April 2. When the counting was finished, we received the great news that 2,401 donors had contributed more than $797,000 to the Tribe!

OTOD 2025 Thank You

Athletics also received $5,000 from the Gerdelman School & Unit Challenge, sponsored by Sue Hanna Gerdelman '76, P '07, P '13, and the late John Gerdelman '75, L.H.D. '19, P '07, P '13. Athletics, along with fellow recipients Student Affairs and Arts & Sciences, was awarded the funds from the Challenge based on exceeding our donor goals.
Overall, we received $135,000 in matches and challenges (16 different matches and challenges) for the community to double the impact of their gifts, and every single one was met! The passion and support the Tribe community provides our student-athletes continues to inspire me and our entire department!

  • The Tribe baseball team sits second in the CAA with a 9-6 conference mark, they will head into this weekend's CAA showdown at Stony Brook on a three-game winning streak after beating the Naval Academy earlier this week.
  • Infielder Jamie Laskofski was a catalyst in the series win over Campbell, hitting.500 (7-for-14) with three doubles, five RBI, and his first career home run. He also added three walks and stole a base. As a result, he is the CAA Rookie of the Week.
