WILLIAMSBURG, Va.—The William & Mary men's golf team travels to the Garden State for the 2025 CAA Men's Golf Championships running Sunday-Tuesday.
The 54-hole event will be contested at Union National League GC in Cape May Court House, N.J.
TRIBE NOTES
Last Time Out
The Tribe wrapped up their regular season at the WVU Mountaineer Invite at Pete Dye Golf Club. W&M posted scores of 301-322-321 to come in 15
th over the three rounds.
Max Johnson posted 15-over to finish T-33 and pace the Tribe.
History at the CAA Championships
The Tribe has posted top four finishes in three of the last five CAA Championships. The last time W&M posted a top-three finish at the conference's season-ending event was 2015 when they finished runner-up with a team score of 893. Overall W&M has competed at the CAA Championships since 1984, with the program's lone conference title coming in 1985. The best team score for William & Mary at the event came in 2002 when the Tribe shot 5-under, paced by current head coach
Tim Pemberton's 2-under-par performance. Recent graduate
Trevor Binau led W&M in the two latest editions of the championship finishing T-10 and eighth, shooting even-par 216 each time. This year marks the first time in five years the tournament hasn't been held at the Dataw Island Club.
Consistent Results
Tim Pemberton's team has been very consistent this season, finishing in the top-six in six of the season's nine events. Since the calendar has flipped to 2025 the Tribe has been scoring nicely as well. W&M didn't post a score higher than 297 in the first nine spring rounds.
