Box Score BLACKSBURG, Va. - William & Mary senior Sia Chaudry and sophomore Mira Kernagis saw their run in the main doubles draw of the ITA Atlantic Region Championship come to an end in a tough quarterfinal tiebreaker on Sunday.
 
After winning three matches over the last two days to earn a spot in the quarterfinals, the Tribe pair, which was seeded No. 9-16, squared off with the No. 5 seeded Virginia team of Margaret Navarro and Isabelle Lacy. In a back-and-forth match, the Cavalier team pulled out a close tiebreaker win, 8-7 (5), to advance to the semifinals. It marked the second-straight season in which the Tribe had a team advance to the quarterfinals.
 
In singles action, Chaudry evened her fall ledger at 4-4 with a three-set win on Saturday. She rallied past West Virginia's Daniella Shved, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 10-5, in the consolation draw.
 
Senior Yaelle Vaissaud and freshman Tilda Larsson each tallied wins in extra matches on Sunday. Vaissaud won matching 6-2 sets to top West Virginia's Lucia Tognoni for her fourth win of the fall. Larsson needed three sets, but topped West Virgina's Lyla Byers, 6-3, 2-6, 10-7. It was Larsson's third win of the fall.
 
The Tribe returns to action when it hosts the W&M Hidden Duals, Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
