LYNCHBURG, Va. – William & Mary women's tennis competed at the Liberty Hidden Dual over the weekend. In total, the Tribe accumulated 11 singles victories and five doubles wins over the three-day event.

Francesca Davis led the way for the Tribe in singles action as each posted a 2-1 mark over the three days.

Hedda Gurholt posted the best Tribe record, going 2-1.
On the opening day, W&M started things off by taking three of four doubles positions from CAA rival Elon. Senior
Ine Stange and Anghel picked up a 6-4 victory over Helen Sarikulaya and Miray Konar at the top spot. Davis and Gurholt notched one of their two wins on the weekend over Ella Suk and Lisa Kranec, 6-3. Pell and sophomore
Parker Debnam rounded out the doubles wins over Elon, topping Madison Cordisco and Heidi Bulger, 6-4.
The Tribe wrapped up the event strong on Sunday, winning five of seven singles matches and two of three doubles contests from East Carolina.
In doubles, freshman
Mira Kernagis and Fernald won at the second spot over Anne Lou Champion and Martina Muzzolon, 6-4. Gurholt and Davis provided the other victory in similar 6-4 fashion over Lilly Lancaster and Isabella Rivera Ortiz.
All five singles wins came in straight sets. Davis, Pell, and Fernald each recorded their second singles wins of the tournament on Sunday. Davis topped Anne Lou Champion, 7-6 (1), 7-6 (3), while Pell downed Lilly Lancaster, 6-3, 7-5, and Fernald defeated Xenia Jeromin, 6-2, 6-1.
Gurholt and Kernagis each picked up their first singles wins of the weekend. Gurholt bounced Isabella Rivera Ortiz, 7-5, 6-2, while Kernagis won matching 6-2 sets over Joan Madi.
