LAST TIME OUT
Fell in a pair of matches at Campbell in their second weekend of conference play.

Despite falling in five sets, the Tribe put on a strong offensive performance on Sunday, earning the highest single-match hitting percentage of the season at a .258 clip. With 61 kills in the match, they were one kill shy of meeting the season high set the weekend before against Charleston.

MEET THE OPPONENT
Hampton is 0-6 on the season and 0-4 in their first looks at conference play, falling to Towson and NC A&T in the previous two weekends. Last year, the Pirates produced a 3-16 campaign, going 0-16 in conference play.

The Tribe holds the lead in the all-time series, 23-2, and has secured victories in the previous five matchups. The teams have only played twice as conference opponents, as the Pirated joined the CAA ahead of the 2022 season. This marks the first time the Tribe will play at Hampton since September 2013.

FAST FORWARD
The Tribe returns to Kaplan Arena to make only their second appearance at home of the 2023 season. Opening home play in October, the Green and Gold will host Elon on Saturday, Oct. 7th (2 p.m.) and Sunday, Oct. 8th (2 p.m.) to continue their conference campaign.
