MEET THE OPPONENT
Prior to ODU's founding as a varsity sport, the teams faced off in a pair of matches in 1981, as William & Mary went 2-0. This upcoming match will be the first time W&M will take on the Monarchs' varsity program.
Last season, ODU finished with a 12-16 record, going 7-7 in Sun Belt play.
Going 2-0 in their first weekend of play at the Quest for the Crown tournament, four Monarchs earned All-Tournament honors and freshman Bryanna Jones was named Tournament MVP.
ODU's offense is ranked No. 27 nationally in hitting percentage and first in the Sun Belt Conference with a .308 mark. Teresa Atilano's 10.57 assists per set land her in the top 36 nationally.
