RICHMOND, Va. — The William & Mary football team continues to build upon its tradition of academic excellence, as 39 Tribe student-athletes were recognized on the CAA Football Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll for the fall semester.
 
To garner the distinction, student-athletes must be enrolled full-time and have attained a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the designated academic term.
 
Representing the Tribe for the fall semester were: Drew Babcock, Zyquan Bessant, Ethan Chang, Owen Copeland, Marcus Crowell, Aidan Cunningham, Evan De Buglio, Quinn Devlin, Carl Fowler, Bart Francois, Joseph Groves, Justin Hiller, Garrett Huyck, Joseph Johnson, Justin Johnson, John Kearney, DreSean Kendrick, Hunter Klein, Greg Klingensmith, Donavyn Lester, Nick Levy, JT Mayo, Trey McDonald, Sean McElwain, Tyler Oedekoven, Lachlan Pitts, Ryan Poole, Kyle Reviello, Ryan Shonk, Zach Shumate, Drew Sotka, Malcolm Spencer, Brayden Staib, Jack Toscano, Sam Trainer, Trey Watkins, Will Whitehurst, Bronson Yoder and Momen Zahid.
 
In addition to the success in classroom, W&M posted one of the best seasons in the program's 129-year history in 2022. The Tribe equaled a school record for wins (11) and posted program records for regular season victories (10) and road triumphs (6). Additionally, W&M secured a share of the CAA title, earned a No. 5 seed in the NCAA Playoffs and advanced to the quarterfinals.
