William & Mary Athletics, in conjunction with the William & Mary Police Department, has implemented a clear bag policy that regulates the size and type of bag that may be carried into W&M Athletics facilities during the 2023-24 year, including Busch Field, Kaplan Arena, Martin Family Stadium, Plumeri Park, and Zable Stadium. Information as well as approved and prohibited items is available at TribeAtheltics.com.

A LOOK INTO THE CAA
After three weeks of conference play, the Tribe lands in fourth place in the CAA. Atop the conference, No. 1 Towson (12-4), No. 2 Northeastern (9-5) and No. 3 UNCW (8-8) each sport a 5-1 CAA record heading into week four, and No. 5 Campbell matches the Green and Gold with a 4-2 CAA record.

DIG PINK MATCH
On Saturday, the Tribe hosts their Dig Pink Match in support of the Side-Out Foundation, which is an organization committed to raising funds for cancer research. The team will don pink prior to the game and posters will be hung in the arena in support of the cause.

Flyers will feature QR codes which link to the Tribe's online campaign. If you would like to show your support, donations to the W&M Volleyball Side-Out Foundation campaign can be made here.

ALL LOVE
The sister duo of Sydney Love and Ryann Love will face one another as conference opponents for the second time in their careers this weekend. Ryann, W&M's very own sophomore middle blocker and 2022 CAA Rookie of the Year, will play host to her older sister, Elon's junior outside hitter Sydney Love.

As sisters and former club teammates, it's a special kind of rivalry for the Love family, as the sisters take the arena together once again, on different sides of the court.

HOME SWEET HOME
William & Mary is hosting only their second home weekend of the season. In their first appearance at home, the Tribe came out on top in two five-set thrillers over Charleston, making for an exciting first weekend of conference play.

LAST TIME OUT
The Tribe return home after facing in-state foe Hampton on the road, the Tribe picked up two victories in straight sets, sweeping the weekend against the Pirates.

In Sunday's final set, the Tribe took the match with a 25-5 set score, earning the win with their widest margin of victory of the season.

NOTES
The Tribe are second in the CAA in opponent hitting percentage, holding their opponents to a 0.192 hitting percentage.

Also clocking in second in the conference, and top-50 in the nation, sophomore middle blocker Olivia Esposito ranks individually at No. 39 nationally with a .396 hitting percentage and No. 44 in the national rankings in blocks per set with 1.26.

SCOUTING THE PHOENIX
Elon is 3-12 on the season so far, with a 0-6 record in the CAA. Forcing two five-set matches in their last three appearances, Elon fell just short of wins against UNCW and Northeastern.

In the series, William & Mary trails the Phoenix with a 9-12 all-time record. The series stretches back to 2005, and began with four-straight victories for the Green & Gold before Elon took six of their own.

Since W&M swept the weekend in the Spring 2021 season, the Tribe and Phoenix have traded wins. In the most recent meeting between the teams, W&M earned a 3-2 victory on the road.
