Graduate student Yu Chen and junior Hedda Gurholt advanced to the second round of the main singles draw before falling to seeded players. In doubles, juniors Alessandra Anghel and Emma Fernald won their first match, but fell in a competitive second-round contest with a nationally-ranked team.

Fernald opened the tournament by splitting her matches in the qualifying singles draw. She defeated George Mason's Lauren Splett, 6-1, 6-2, before falling to Delaware's Maryia Hrynashka in three sets.

In doubles, Anghel and Fernald knocked off the Howard team of Selah Stibbins and Sifa Butcher, 8-4, in the opening round. The Green and Gold tandem battled tough with the No. 50-ranked team in the country of ODU's Alexandra Viktorovich and Sofia Johnson before falling 8-5.
